Halo Infinite has more players on Steam than Battlefield 2042

Hallo Infinite is a first-person capturing video game developed by 343 Industries and also modified by Xbox Game Studios. Its leave is scheduled for December 8, 2021, on Windows, Xbox One, as well as on Xbox Collection. This is the 6th main game of the Halo series, complying with Halo 5: Guardians released in 2015.

The developers of Halo Infinite have launched the multiplayer mode of the game as a surprise on November 15th. Since then, it has been a huge success for the players community. Its Steam numbers on the day of its launch were so enormous that it is now considered the first Xbox Game Studios to cross 200,000 simultaneous players.

The fans of the game are wondering if Halo Infinite may or may not succeed in maintaining its success on Steam now that Battlefield 2042 is also available for the players audience. This question seemed to have received a categorical answer in the last two days. The number of Halo Infinite players almost doubled compared to the shooting game published by EA.

Battlefield 2042 was launched on November 19 with 90 136 players. Hallo Infinite, on the other hand, had 140,536. This domination continued only towards the second day of exit, Halo Infinite with nearly 200,000, compared to 100,000 for Battlefield 2042.

Considering that the multiplayer Halo Infinite is 100% free, the barrier at the entrance for the game should be well below that of Battlefield 2042. The players community thinks that if Halo Infinite had been a game at full price, the number of His players would have been much lower than he is currently.

However, the number of 100,000 Battlefield 2042 players is certainly not a small number. It is actually a culminating point for the series of shooters. However, IP Outriders of Square Enix, which is another full-priced game launched this year, had more than 125,000 players at launch.

That said, its hard to say if the price of the game is the only reason it has failed to get closer to the number of infinite halo players. Other possible factors may be the generally negative reviews of the game or its lack of offer for one player.
