Modder plays Final Fantasy XIV with the ring-fit

The well-known controller modder Superlouis64 has managed to play Final Fantasy XIV with Nintendo s Ring Fit Controller, even though the MMORPG is not available for the Switch. He crossed the entire continent Aldenard on foot in a stream.

This is superlouis64: The Youtuber and Twitch Streamer made it a hobby to control different games with highly unusual controllers. Often the games are not designed to use his controllers or that of his control tools are not actual controllers.

The modder uses a USB converter and software that converts the controller control and keyboard control. For the crisp cases, if the game is not available on PC (or its controllers are actually bananas), he writes the script for himself.

Some time ago, the Modder started a new project. He wanted to play the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV with the Ring Fit Controller of the Nintendo Switch and it succeeded.

In the first tests on Twitter, the modder showed about how he can trigger an AOE capability through the squats in the dark knight or bring his character to the bounce.

Louis emphasized against the colleagues of Gamesradar that the game itself was not modified. This would also be against the applicable usage regulations of FFXIV. Instead, it reacts to the button input of ring fit.

So he plays FFXIV with the Ring Fit Controller: In a charity stream Superlouis64 then demonstrated how well its modification of the controller works.

He has made the entire continent to cross Aldenard and has to jog to use ring fit. Because without jogging the character will not move.

The start of his journey was in the Merry Halter. From there he crossed the dravanian land, Western Coertha and set off the way to Gridania, Thanalan and then Limsa Lominsa.

Louis manages to cross the continent in just over an hour to cross. As a small addition, he turns on the way to Ala Mhigo and reaches the city in almost 25 minutes.

It quickly realizes that the ring Fit control of Final Fantasy XIV is pretty exhausting. During his journey, the modder is properly sweating, it is therefore unlikely that he will soon lay with the Ring Fit Controller Ex-Primae and concludes RAIDS.

But Hey, who knows he has already mastered Dark Souls with bananas.
