Darts-EM: Rob Cross beats Michael Van Gerwen in the final
Rob Cross (31) has won the Darts European Championship for the second time after 2019. The Englishman prevailed in the final on Sunday evening in Salzburg against the World s List of Local Michael Van Gerwen (Netherlands) with 11: 8. Cross, world champion of 2018, conceded 120,000 pounds for this success (about 142,000 euros) prize money.
Both players stayed far below their possibilities in the final (Average: 92.71 from Cross compared to 93.66 by Van Gerwen), but the game lived of great tension.
